Ardvreck Castle

Ardveck Castle is a striking ruined castle in the Scottish Highlands, sitting dramatically on a rocky peninsula beside Loch Assynt. Built in the 16th century by the MacLeod clan, it later became associated with the MacKenzies after a period of conflict and takeover. Today, its crumbling stone walls and scenic lakeside setting make it a popular spot for photography and exploring Highland history.
